Last week we held our fifth LEAP (Lived Experience Advisory Panel) gathering at Good Company.
We covered a range of topics from discussing fundraising and brainstorming ideas for Christmas events, to highlighting organisations who would benefit from poverty awareness training for their frontline staff and hearing from one of our members who has started a peer support group for parents of SEN children.
One of our members said, “it was special for me to be part of a team with similar mindsets. Your lovely lot has given me a voice, which has been buried and been more than essential.”
We look forward to sharing more of what comes out of our work together. 💚
