A decade on…you are invited

21st September 2022

In October 2012 we opened the doors of Epsom & Ewell Foodbank, never expecting to be here 10 years later. This is not a celebration, but we would like to acknowledge our journey, which we could not have done without you all.

Over the past decade, so many people have supported us in all kinds of ways. By volunteering in so many capacities, fundraising, inviting us for talks, listening, spreading the word, reading our newsletters and getting involved. We really could not do what we do, without you playing a part in making it happen.

Since October 2012, with your help, we have fed in the region of 50,000 people. We have provided support, furniture and household goods, energy top ups, clothes, school uniforms, Christmas dinners, targeted support to refugees, and that all important cuppa and a listening ear. We are constantly exploring new initiatives with the aim of one day making our foodbank redundant, as we look to create a poverty-free future for our community.

We would love you to come and join us in recognition of this amazing community initiative and the passion of local people who care.

We are hosting a series of events to cover the communities where our foodbank centres are based. We would really like you to come along to one of them!

The boring bit: to know how many people to provide refreshments for, we need you to book a free ticket and let us know which event you’d like to come to.

Times are 6pm for all

Please book here and choose your preferred venue

As our finale of these 10-year acknowledgement events, we are also holding a Fundraising Gala Dinner & Dance at Epsom Racecourse on the 19th November. If you would like to know more or book tickets, you can do so here .

Feel free to email us if you have any questions on [email protected]
