We are asking for donations of new hot water bottles. The logic behind it is simple, boiling 1 litre of water costs around 0.091 kWh but to heat a radiator is around 24 kWh.
Food and fuel poverty is so closely related, with colder temperatures and rising energy costs, many people need help.
Please consider donating a new hot water bottle or two, if you can. We can take them at our depot Generation Resource Centre, Ruxley Lane, Ewell KT19 0JG Monday to Friday, 9-2pm or you can donate at our regular donation points.
