Admin Assistant – Epsom & Ewell Foodbank

Foodbank admin assistant (with project support) – September 2021
Hours: up to 37 per week
Rate of pay £9-11 per hr depending on experience
25 days hol per year
Probationary period 6 months
Reporting to: Office Manager
The role is office based in Ewell KT19.
Brief job description
- Confident and capable in dealing with and welcoming members of the public be it clients, donors, agencies, team members and volunteers
- Assist in producing a regular newsletter (weekly/monthly as required) to different target audiences
- Send thank you letters including Harvest/Seasonal appeals
- Keep filing up to date
- Data entry including managing the E voucher process
- Take notes at team meetings
- Attend and assist at training evenings
- Assist team members as necessary, incl volunteer coordinator, on any additional projects
- Able to manage own workload
- Be reliable and have a flexible, willing approach
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Good telephone skills
- Understand the long-term strategy of Epsom & Ewell Foodbank
Required: Proficiency in MS office incl Word/Outlook/Excel
Preferred: Full driving licence and own transport. Experience in using social media, MailChimp.
